Detian Falls are an array of waterfalls in the Karst hills of Daxing County in the Chongzuo prefecture of Guangxi Province.
Detian Waterfall, the Top Grade Attraction of the State, is 66 kilometers away from county town. It comes from Guichun River and flows all the year. It falls from the cliff and forms a waterfall. The waterfall is over 120 meters in width and 60 meters in depth and is a fall of over 70 meters to the bottom of the cliff. It connects with the Banyue Waterfall of Vietnam and forms a waterfall of over 200 meters long. It is the largest transborder waterfall in Asia and second largest in the world.
The Diaoshuilou Waterfall is located at the northern end of the Jingpo Lake in mountains south of Ning'an County, Heilongjiang Province.
The waterfall was created by a huge dam built, but now redundant, in one of the narrowest points of the lake. This constriction gives added momentum to the flow of this 40m wide and 20m high spectacle, so that now, in notable contrast to the placid peace of the lake, the waterfall roars with impressive fervor. In the winter months this waterfall, literally translated as the "Hanging Water Falls", is frozen, but it is the summer months that draw the crowds.
The waterfall leaps down over a 46-meter-high precipice at the outlet of the Dayinjiang River, 1.5 kilometres away in the west of the county town, diffusing vapour all around. In sunshine, a rainbow rises from among the steaming vapour. There is an inscription of four Chinese characters - Jian Sao Feng Yan, carved on a cliff beside the waterfall, in which the calligrapher compared the waterfall to "a sword that sweeps away the dense miasma".
Located in Tengchong tucked into a western corner of Yunnan province, 750 kilometers west of Kunming and located along the old southwestern silk route.
